Sad News - Jim Piscitello

I am sad to report that I just received the news that one of our "Owner/Agents" Jim Piscitello passed away this weekend.

Jim was a close personal friend, and a great guy.

This was very sudden and unexpected.

Jim worked in telecommunications, and I helped him move from enjoying the Audio/HT Hobby into becoming an "Owner/Agent" for VMPS as well as other brands.

He thrived and started Next Level Audio and had done quite a lot in the MidWest and Eastern US.

He will be missed.

I read every post.  From the posting of his friends, customers, & acquaintences, Jim appears to have been one of the nicest people in audio.  John, you did the audio world a big favor by getting Jim started in the business.  No one could have so many wonderful postings by sheer coincidence.  What a guy.

Jim was 48 years old and is survived by his wife Sue and his two children, Stephanie and Kyle.  He was incredibly passionate and loved everything about this hobby.  Despite the long hours this business demanded of him, he always thrived to help put a grin on another enthusiast's face.  At the end of the day, it was all about working with others and giving them enjoyment regardless of the product.  He was a great friend and mentor, and he will be sorely missed.  I only wish he could have sat back and find the time to enjoy the music a little more.  I am confident he is doing that now.
