Does Slimserver leave a bunch of files in TEMP folders?

Just noticed that I have a bunch of files in my TEMP folder (both Windows/Temp and Documents and Settings/user/local setting/temp) since installing SB3 and SLIMSERVER a couple weeks ago.

Mostly  .dll files and they seem to be PERL related i.e.- perl58.dll.

Actually creates a folder named PDK-User NAme, or PDK-System.

Oh, and they cannot be deleted even if I shutoff Slimserver.
This software concerns me how it kind of takes over the system.

What's up with all this?

I have the folder and files in both TEMP places.
If I do get them removed-they reappear upon a reboot or logoff/login.
Strange.

Well I think you need the Perl drivers for slim to run.   Why they reappear I don't know.

You would think that it would run from the program files within the Program Files/Slimserver folder.

Maybe has something to do with the browser interface.
