Bi-amping with GK-1EL?
« on: 28 Mar 2006, 03:07 am »
Hi all,
I am considering using my GK-1EL in a bi-amp system with an AKSA 100N
and stereo subamps.  I understand I can insert a simple male to two
female RCA adapter into the outputs of the GK-1EL to provide two parallel
outputs (one for each amp).  Will the combined loads from the two different
amps present a problem for the GK-1EL?  I searched the forum, but I
could not find an answer.  Sorry if the topic has been previously
discussed.  Thanks for your help.

No problem at all, Gary.

Two AKSA power amps will present a load around 20K, which is fine for the GK1.

Cheers,

Hugh
