Sorry Carl, I wasn't suggesting 'you' should check out the dac, just that it's silly for anyone to say it isn't worth anyones consideration.

For everyone else, it is well known in the pro-world and has internal ps, balanced analog and digital i/o plus headphone amp and volume control:)

To Bybee or not to Bybee

Has anyone tried Bybee filters on the digital output?  Bybee is an unknown technology to me and Dan suggested it as a possibility.  The new 656 arrived and now it's time to decide what to get done... There's Level 1, 2, and bybee stuff.

I've never heard the effects of a bybee but, I'm skeptical as to what they limit and how they do it.  Is there any negatives using a Bybee on the digital output?  It's concerning me because it's a very important link in the chain.
