Bugle with switchable inputs

I have two turntables and was wondering about the feasibility of adding two sets of inputs and a switch for them to my Bugle—is this possible, or would the switch and extra wire at that point in the chain likely introduce noise or degrade the signal?

Sure, you can add an input switch. Keep it inside a shielded box. Still, it may end up adding hum or buzz. All depends on how well it is implemented.

two questions:
would shrink wrapping up to the rca help?
and using the cable that inputs into the rca's but is just a short rca male on both ends that is used to actually stop RFI/EMI at the inputs. those things actually close or terminate that circuit don't they?

Shrink wrap will most likely cause more harm than good. It is not the best dielectric. I'd rather use horse hair as an insulator instead shrink wrap.
Don't get the second question. We're not too worried about RFI or EMI here. That's covered by the circuit itself. The main consideration is for LFI (hum).
