My IA-7 arrives Monday. Ideas about power cords?
« on: 17 Mar 2006, 10:50 pm »
I take delivery of my new IA-7 on Monday (3-20-2006), and am excited to see how it will compare, once broken-in, to my
22 wpc, SET, integrated.  I have owned SET tubes for a number of years
Cary 805C, et al) BEFORE my  kids went to undergraduate and graduate
school, so my system is ramped back quite a bit.  In the years, I owned
most every power cord ever made, including NBS Monitor I and 0, AZ
Krakatoa, TGR Silver, Soundstring, and too many more.  I am currently using Eichmann Express II.  Do NuForce owners have suggestions for
power cords that seem to mate well with their amps?  Thanks, Thomas

I'd start with the stock one first and go from there.  No point salting your food until you've tasted it first.

Thanks for the suggestions.  My habit is to always start all-stock, no
adornments at first.  So, thanks for the feedback! :)

put on some makeup and put up your hair and try to do sommthin with what you got there!

Since it would not be cool to blow my own horn I won't. So the best power cord that I have heard that's not mine is the Ven Haus Airsine. Good power cord lots to like about it. Best I have heard out there. Check it out. The NuForce respond very well to first class power cords. I would not waste my time with anything less. Best regards Moray James.
