Feeding the B60 7 volts
« on: 16 Mar 2006, 01:11 pm »
My DAC (a modified ART DI/O) puts out 7 volts. When connected to the B60, I can hear sound even with the volume all the way down. Will this hurt the B60 in the long run, or should I pad the line? Thanks.

Hi Jim;

7 Volts won't harm anything in the B-60, and it won't overload the input. It still might be a good idea to pad the output from the DAC to make the level easier to control with the range on the volume knob.
