Any suggestins  for Super 3 XRS wiyh my Scott 222?
It has a large soundstage but is a bit warm with the RFT 12AXS (East Germanlabled Amperex) wiich are the best I could afford.

I have used the Mapleshade cables with my Scott 222c and both Omega Super 3's and A8's.  Very happy with the sound.

Thanks, Mapleshade was on my short list so good to know-though some claim they are a bit bass-shy.

If you're concerned about the bass you could always go with the double version - Mapleshade claims better output down low.

I also like the sound of my Anti-cables in this setup (Paul Spelz' magnet wire), but found the Anti-cables a pain in the @ss to work with (yes, even more than the stiff Mapleshades)

The Greg Straley cables also really interest me, but I have not tried them yet.

Max - great tip on the Bolder M80's.
Very balanced sound, MUCH more flexible, and in the same $$ ballpark.

Plus Wayne is a great guy to deal with.
