The Replacements - Don't You Know Who I Think I Was? (2006)

I have every studio album they recorded, but bought this after hearing
"Message to the Boys" on the radio the other day. As a huge Replacements
fan I was surprised I didn't know about it. I believe this is disc is the only
way to get it. They made a lot of great songs, and many of my favorites
are missing, but this is a decent collection of songs on one disc.

The Twilight Singers - Blackberry Belle (2003)

I read an article years ago that said great music is music that causes the
hairs to raise on your arms and gives you goosebumps every time you hear
it - becomes a part of your dreams and your waking reality. This album does
that to me. Greg Dulli is a genius and one of the most underrated American
songwriters of all-time.

Currently ripping to FLAC -- laughing because this is one of those double LP albums where they put sides 1 and 4 on the same disk, and 2 and 3 on the other one -- for all of us with record changers, right...?
