Dreamend - So I Ate Myself: Bite By Bite (2010)One of the better albums I bought this year, but it took me a couple of listens to appreciate it. It's an odd one, and I say that as someone who loves odd music. It's part low-fi, indie, and Americana (yes Americana). Those who "get" this will be rewarded with some of the most exciting music I've heard in years. It's an incredible album.
Sure, but will it sound all audiophile-ey on my system? Sounds intriguing- I'm gonna try and check it out. Thanks for dropping a few lines about your posted album. I wish more people would do that more often ! D.D.

I have a few of their albums bookmarked in my Amazon wishlist, but I don't own any yet. There's so much good music out there it's hard to keep up
They sound a bit like early Smashing Pumpkins if you like that band.

From the samples, I really like some of this. The songs with vocals remind me somewhat of Broken Social Scene.
