A classic...Steely Dan's Gaucho in hi-rez (96kHz/24bit) remastered by the original engineer from the Grammy winning 1981 effort.

If you listen to this hi resolution version next to the even the best red book versions out there and can't hear how much better this re-released hi resolution version is, you should start listening to low resolution mp3's!!   :lol:

On last trip to Double Decker with Pman, and Mrs Pman, I splurged on way to much classical vinyl, including a couple of guitar oriented disks, as Pman said that was his favorite classical presentation. Just got around to putting this on;

Boccherini: Guitar Quintets
Luigi Boccherini (Composer), Pepe Romero (Performer), Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields (Performer) | Format: Vinyl

It's most enjoyable sitting by the fire after an evening's snow. I don't have exactly what's pictured below, a 2 disc CD set, but a subset of this work on 1 vinyl album.

The Black Crowes -  Before the Frost... and ...Until the Freeze

If these turn out to be the last Black Crowes albums with new material, they are going out on a high note!  Highly recommended.   :thumb: :thumb:

John Illsley: Streets of Heaven (2010)

Past bass player for Dire Straits, for whom old fans might find this album to be the next best thing to the real thing. Mark Knopfle appears on a few tracks.  8)

Rabih Abou-Khalil & Ricardo Ribeiro: Em Portugues (2010)

A strange mix of Middle Eastern ethnic fusion and Portuguese fado vocals, but it works quite well for me as does most of Aboul-Khalil's music when I want something "different". This album could easily been fado singer Ricardo Ribeiro's album as his vocals dominate each track which I really found to be a good thing.   8)
