Not really, just breaking in the Oppo (although I must say I have never heard CDs sound as good as they do using the Oppo). I put the Love CD on repeat before I left for church and decided to listen upon my return home. The main and perhaps only reason I bought the Oppo is to enjoy concert videos and an occasional movie on Blu Ray. I was using a Denon 3910 for concert DVDs/movies and as a transport for CDs using a moded Musical Fidelity X-DACv8. After hearing the Oppo BDP 83 SE with the ModWright tube mod in 5 different rooms/systems at RMAF, I decided to opt for the Oppo with the tube mod and retire my Denon and MF DAC to the basement.
