World Party - Thank You World [EP] (1991)

No samples, but it has a great cover of "Happiness is a warm gun"
and a great video of the title song. The "Is it too late?" remix steals
the show.

I'm a big fan of Karl Wallinger, starting when he was in The Waterboys for a short time.  Goodbye Jumbo is one of my all time favorite albums.  Saw him at a small club a few years ago, after he recovered from his illness.

Same here - Goodbye Jumbo is one of my favorite albums. I have a couple Waterboys albums and play them often. "Whole of the moon" is one of my favorite songs of all time. I have all his solo albums and love them all. I never had the chance to see him live. I missed a lot of good concerts when I was in the Navy. Seems the best acts only come to town when you're on deployment  :?

A very young Stevie Winwood and Muff to.

Muff Winwood (born Mervyn Winwood, 15 June 1943, Erdington, Birmingham) is an English songwriter and record producer, and the older brother of Steve Winwood. Both were formerly members of the Spencer Davis Group in the 1960s, in which Muff Winwood played bass guitar. He produced the first Dire Straits album, Dire Straits (1978)
