Bill,LPs or CDs?
There available on LP ??? Sucks to be me
Well...think I got my question answered, read a couple of the 'reviews' over at Amazon and it seems like its the same or worse than the '97 version. Too bad, the packaging looks impressive...yeah the looks thing.
My conclusion? If you're considering purchasing this edition only with the intention of obtaining improved remastering, you might want to save your money: This release is completely indiscernible from the previous-generation, 1997 remaster. Even the track times are exactly the same (only "Red House" is :01 longer in length), which is usually an indication that no new mastering work has been performed. Both freedb and iTunes also recognize the new disc as the older release.

25-year old Californian harpist Joanna Newsom is an artist that sharply divides opinion between those who love her music, and those who cannot stand it.
Hey Man-on-aPumkin and/or Wolfy...Is the electric Ladyland cd a remaster, and how is it? Better than the '97 version?http://www.amazon.com/Scratch-My-Back/dp/B0039W1J0Q/ref=dm_cd_album_lnk_altPeter Gabriel, scratch my back
