In Formation- Kronos (RR 45rpm); Hip Elegy- Joachim Kuhn feat Alphonse Mouzon (MPS Holland); Song for Juli- Jesse Colin Young (WB). "Ridgetop" from that one is a classic for me. Spinnin too good to watch the Oscars. But, I am watching Jimmy K tonite and he is spot on hilarious!

Wow. Impressive album. Just picked it up for $4 on the street. Amazon.com has them from $1.79 used. I highly recommend it. A GRP recording (*which usually indicates good fidelity) and loads of big names -- John Clayton, Ray Brown, Jeff Hamilton. All produced by Tommy LiPuma. Great big-band arrangements. Quite a find.

Goldfrapp - Seventh Tree (2008)

This was one of my top three albums of 2008. Their new album "Head First"
will be out on March 23rd. I'm hoping for the best.

Edit: Just saw the video for "Rocket" on Youtube. Disappointing.
