I just finished setting up my SB3 to play some of my favorite internet radio stations. It was easier than I expected. I'm currently listening to HOBER Thinking Radio site. If your interested, here's their last ten songs playlist.

Edit: This site plays mostly folk, country, jazz & world in a very eclectic blend.

hey len...u should try WFUV in ny  8)

Bill & Peggy,

Thanks for the recommendations. I was pleasantly (oh, no) surprised by how well the internet programs were received by my wife and son (always listening ).

Grateful Dead - 1971-04-26 [Fillmore East]

As 24-bit/FLAC. Missing a few songs, but the sound quality easily makes up for it.

P.S. for the uninitiated: Bad night for everybody's vocal mics, except Pigpen. Offset by very good performances from Pigpen, and Duane Allman being part of the second set.

Bill Graham - Press conference (before the Grateful Dead show) on 28 April 1971

Bill Graham announces he is closing the Fillmore East in a couple of months. Graham does an absolutely magnificent job of explaining what was becoming wrong with The Music Business and Rock 'N' Roll (and spends 15 minutes ripping on Ratner's Deli). This is the music biz equivalent to Ike's farewell address, were he warns of the rise of The Military Industrial Complex.

20 years later, we have Steve Albini's article, " The Problem With Music." Warning: Steve-O has a Potty Mouth:
