Drop Nineteens - Delaware (1992)
I discovered these guys when I picked up a Caroline Records sampler years ago. Delaware was one of my most played albums during the early 90's. They're kinda like a mix between My Bloody Valentine and early Smashing Pumpkins - taking the best of both bands and making some really incredible music. Very unique sounds with stunning guitar leads. Funny story: Their version of Madonna's "Angel" is so different (and amazingly better) than the original, that I didn't know until reading the liner notes that it was a cover. No kidding. If you're a fan of this kind of music, "Kick the Tragedy" will leave you breathless. One of my top-five "shoegaze" albums. Oh, they were in their teens when they made this masterpiece

Available on MP3 download. The CD is nearly extinct and very expensive new. Used prices seem reasonable.
