This copy of Having a Rave Up was probably a late '70's reissue, and overall has a little distortion and sibliance, however, the recording of Train Kept a Rolling is the best I have heard, there is more ambiance and it just seems to jump off the record. Strangely, the rest of the tracks don't have that same quality.

The Airborne Toxic Event (2009)

A little mainstream for my tastes, but a couple of the songs are damn catchy, and not one of them sucks. "Papillon" is the standout and kinda reminds me of British Sea Power. Maybe that's the attraction

Ultimately lacking in originality, I'd give it a B-

Tough to find, but well worth the effort. "Red all over" is one of my favorite early 90's songs.
"Venice" simply kicks-ass. Suffers from inconsistency.
