Wow Ed...you beat me gettin' home...

NYAR Demo disc 2009.
Had to hear some of the tracks on my system too. Wow, talk about a different sound.
Let's see if #12 has that 3D effect.  aa

Mhhnnn...not quite, gettin' a 180 across front spread, but not a behind enveloping sound field. I figure it may be because of my acute toe-in angle (crosses 2-3ft. in front of my listening position).
Everything else sounds great, excellent clarity and punch. Thanks Wolfy!  :thumb:

Hailing from Ljubljana, Slovenia is guitarist, pianist and sound manipulator Borut Krzisnik formerly of Laibach and Borghesia. To round out his existing credits are his works as a classical and theater composer. Stories From Magatrea has to be one of the most important releases or bodies of music in Borut's career for the fact that it reveals his poise and ear for composition strictly as a conductor/composer and a return to his roots. Borut sets aside his guitar, industrial jam sessions and intensive sound experimentations to fully concentrate on composing Stories from Magatrea

Binario - the band from Ipanema Beach - bring the sound of Rio?s underground to ?Binario? with rhythmically rich and sonically expansive tracks full of intrigue and originality. A seven strong gang, Binario have captured their unique mix of psychedelia, guitar fuzz, electronica and tripped out space funk. Recreating the passion of their wild live shows, where the gear is wired to car batteries to blast their illicit grooves to Rio?s beaches, Binario?s layered sound mixes brooding instrumentals with futuristic freak outs and Portuguese scat vocals

Swedish Pagaen/Viking Metal...  aa

Grand Magus are a bit of an enigma. They?re not particularly Big, in any sense of the word; the Swedish three-piece are probably best known for the fact that frontman Janne ?JB? Christoffersson sings in Spiritual Beggars with Michael Amott of Carcass and Arch Enemy. This lack of recognition clashes with the fact that they?re fucking brilliant...Metal Hammer famously raised this point with JB in an interview, to which he replied that ?you should always have an erection while playing metal?.
