Midnight Oil - Diesel and Dust (Newly Acquired Old Vinyl)

Having a vinyl revelation, this has been one of my favorite CD's and I listen to it often. I saw some '80's vinyl at the Vintage Voltage expo last week and picked this up. The difference between this and the CD is really huge, much better on vinyl, almost doesn't sound like it came from the same master tapes - something I wouldn't have expected since they would have been released at the same time with no special remastering. I'm really glad I got this - might have to start tracking down some more CD favorites on old used vinyl.

Lou Reed - New Sensations (Newly Acquired Old Vinyl)

Similar to the Midnight Oil, this sounds much better than the CD, though not as drastically.

The American Breed - Pumpkin, Powder, Scarlet & Green (Newly Acquired Old Vinyl)

Bend Me, Shape Me was one of the first songs I remember having an impact on me as a kid and helped spark my interest in music, so when I saw this there was no question I had to buy it. Kind of like a psychedelic/bubblegum melding of Vanilla Fudge and The Partridge Family (meant as a good thing). When searching for the album cover discovered that they actually morphed into Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, something I never would have known.
