Wow, Irma Thomas, stripped down...small acoustic band, quite a few duos with just a pianist...lots of big name pianists.
Love this album, lots of different ''feels". Irma's voice sounds very rich with a slight huskiness that often comes from living life...the wisdom edge. And you can still taste the New Orleans vibe...
