Not going with you ??

Hopefully short term ?

Sorry, it was a forever goodbye. He was diagnosed with heart valve deterioration at the end of this summer. He was on 4 medications but seemed to be doing well. At 10am today he looked uncomfortable and was breathing heavily. An hour later I knew we had little time left. Anyway..... I'm glad his mom was able to come back last week and spend his final days with him while he was still his somewhat normal "old man" self. He was a good boy and for a Dachshund he was an incredible ball catcher. Like REALLY incredible. Too small and short-legged to jump and catch it in the air, but he always caught it on the first bounce. Always. I miss him big time
