No fan of his shredding either I agree Colma is a delight and Electric Tears follows the same vein. For something a little energetic in some parts but still quite meditative in others I recommend Jonas Hellborg, Buckethead, Michael Shrieve - Octave of the Holy Innocents if you're not already familiar with it. Quite a prolific artist, with over 300 releases BH's bound to have something most any music lover would like...........
Yep, got that. Looked into more of Hellborg's work, but mostly too pricey for me. Sadly I missed picking up BH's Captain Eo's Voyage when it first came out as it was only available from his site, which was an oversight on my part. Haven't looked recently but when I have seen any reference it's mostly unobtainium. Haven't checked Utube, but from the couple of cuts I heard when first released it's special.
