Red Crayola ~ The Parable of Arable Land

With Roky Erickson leading a gaggle of hippies from the organ, loops of percussion, & Kenny Rogers' brother Leland mixing in their drug party/be-in at the board, Mayo Thompson leads his trio through an ocean of mess, stopping at a few islands for moments of charming, if poorly recorded, garage psych. Thompson's legendarily surreal lyrics (well, except for the 'war sucks' chant) are a little obscured, but it's a damn fine ride.
