
Man, this little debut album by an unknown group at the time is awesome! It just don't get old. Not a single song mind you and besides that, it's freakin note perfect. My nominee for rock album of the decade. Saw em live for two bucks on their first US tour but that has nothing to do with my high regard for this album. It's just one of those very special things to come along once in a blue moon and stand apart. Do turn it up so you can feel the timing and tension of those guitar strings.
Btw, I think "Private Life" is so positively intoxicating I even have Grace Jones doing it on an Island release. Feel ALL the tracks are great and that's mighty rare for me on a single album.
