Oh, heck yeah! I have the unabridged DVD of the Monterey Pop Festival and this band just about burns the place down! All the Chicago players who had careers of their own to come are featured on stage. The 60's were a time for youth music and this band led the way for R&B for the uninitiated. Saw Bishop and Santana on stage at the same time at The Matrix in San Francisco before either had recorded. I think it was the first time they met. T'was an informal jam session.

Heck, I'm gonna watch that bad boy tonite! Lots of choice artists and/or tunes that were left out of the movie. Little Laura Nyro steals my heart on one song and Country Joe and The Fish have a merry old time.

I've been hearing Wishing You Were Here on various radios for as long as I can remember but I think this might be the first time I've ever really sat down and listened to it on " the big rig "...The vocal arrangement is, in a word, stunning. Amazing what bringing in a bunch of Beach Boys can do for your harmonies.

That not withstanding, it's a pretty creative piece of work, that arrangement. Encased in one damned weird cover.
