The Alan Parsons Project - I Robot (1977)Samples
Just listened to this the other night, some pretty good tracks
It's my favorite album of their early period. "Eye in the Sky" is my favorite overall - "You're Gonna Get Your Fingers Burned" being my favorite song from that album. I only have a few of their discs. I'll probably pick-up "Ammonia Avenue" next. I played that a lot when it first came out.
Golden Butter, The Best of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band
To tell you the truth, they are one of those bands that didn't used to really appeal to me so I kind of passed them by. I saw someone listening to one of their albums the other day and decided to have another listen after many , many years. Along with "I Robot" I also listened to "The Turn of a Friendly Card" , enjoyed them both. Will listen to " Eye In The Sky " and "Ammonia Avenue" next, sure I'll like them as well . Like you mentioned before, it's great when this happens .Listening to alot on Rdio right now, going to have to start buying some discs now that the new speakers are done
Couldn't get this one on Rdio, so giving the following a try..The Paul Butterfield Blues Band - The Paul Butterfield Blues Band LiveSamplesPretty good
