If you're a Sandy Denny fan, it's $63 well spent.

Roxy Music - Manifesto (1979)

The best sounding disc (and my personal favorite) of the new set (so far).

The original CD sounds really frickin' good - until you play the remaster. My
daughter and I played "Dance Away" two times back-to-back. Each time we
played the remaster we were like "Damn!" This is a "must own" collection.

Band Opeth are masters.  Ghost Reveries still IMO is their best work.  Making this distinction with Opeth however is not easy to do.

My favorite Roxy Music album has always been Avalon, but that could just be because I have had that album since it came out and am most familiar with it. Let me know how it sounds when you get to it.

If it's like the others I've heard in this set I'm sure it will sound great. I like Manifesto because it perfectly bridged their early material with later albums like Avalon. Only a set of songs that strong could make it work. Kind of like what "Zenyatta Mondatta" did for The Police. Not many bands can pull that off.
