Enya: Amarantine (2005)

If it's one thing Enya does right IMO, it's high quality recording.         Samples

This (older) recording was new to me, but it's excellent.

You usually can't go wrong picking a Reiner or Kertesz recording performance wise.

I have all five of their albums. Second Life Syndrome is my personal favorite, but they're all great.

Slush, this genre can be a bit of a minefield but I like these guys. I thought there was supposed to be a new release from Porcupine Tree this year - heard anything ?

Steven Wilson is a frickin' machine. He's almost impossible to keep up with.

I friended Porcupine Tree on Facebook a while back. Here's one of the latest posts:

"Octane Twisted" the new double CD live album including bonus DVD will be released on Kscope Records on November 19th. A regular 2 cd only version will be available at a later date.
CD 1 comprises the whole of "The Incident" recorded at the Riviera, Chicago 2010.
CD 2 track listing is as follows - with tracks 5 to 7 recorded at the Royal Albert Hall."

Earlier in the year Steven Wilson released a solo album called "Grace for Drowning" which was very good.

Plus he did a side project called "Storm Corrosion" with  Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth.

Oh, and the rest of the PT guys all did solo albums.

You need a watchful eye and a big limit on your Visa card to keep up with these guys!
