Got this in the mail today, but will be returning it to the eBay seller
tomorrow due to false disc condition in his ad. I'm pretty pissed about
this. "No evidence of wear" my ass

Los Lobos  - Good Morning Aztlan            2002

These guys have made a bunch of solid albums - this is one of them. I've seen them live three times and every time it's been a scheiss-show with amps blowing up, awful sound and a variety of technical issues. I remember one time I saw them where David Hidalgo was so angry at one of the stage crew about a pedal-board issue during a show that I thought he was going to tear him apart onstage and throw him into the crowd like Alice Cooper's chicken...

Chicago  -  Live in Japan          1972 ( 2012 Japan-only SHM-CD re-mastered re-issue )

Originally released in Japan in 1972, this live set was never released in North America by Columbia who opted to release the Carnegie Hall concert set instead. It was briefly available on the band's own label in the mid-nineties and until recently was only available for ridiculous prices. This year it was re-done and released in limited quantities again only in Japan in SHM-CD by Rhino ( or, as they are known in Japan, Rhino ). I have both the Carnegie show set and now, at long last, this set as well. Believe the hype, Chicago fans - this is the one.

PITA, Slush. I'm skirmishing with an Amazon Marketplace vendor right now over two screwed-up orders in a row ( both rare SACD's ) and frankly, I could live without the drama...
