Torche  - Meanderthal        2008

Along with compatriots like Atlanta's Baroness, Miami heavy rockers Torche are giving the genre a much-needed shove into new territory. Bone-crushing heaviness without all the standard cliches of a rather conservative musical genre proving metal and melody are not mutually exclusive.

Genesis - Abacab [Gold Collectors Edition] (1981)

This would have been their best post-Gabriel release were it not for "Dodo/Lurker" and
"Who Dunnit", which I always skip. I just can't believe they made it on to this album.
