Yes, 6 of the 7 songs were from "The King Is Dead", The 7th is a cover of "If I Could Only Win Your Love" (a 70's country song)

Thanks!

I got my copy for a buck at the good will.  In the past year, I must have found 25-30 CDs that I really like out of probably around 100 bought from the good will.  At $1 each, those are pretty good odds.  I donate them back if I don't keep them so I get tax relief, so it's even a better deal.

That's a great score. I love the Blake Babies and have almost everything related to the band. That must be a New York thing, because none of the Goodwill stores in my area have music. I've been getting most of my music lately from Half-Price Books. We have 3 of them in Houston. Two are downtown and are a PITA to get to, but we have one a few miles up the road near the main entrance to NASA. The employees at my store only know books and don't have a clue about music, so the stuff I listen to is usually found in the clearance bin for a buck. Almost always in excellent or better condition and most look brand new. With monthly coupons you can get them for 15% off (.85 cents!). I've been buying around 30-40 CD's a month from that store. I grab a basket when I walk in, grab everything in good condition that looks interesting, and then listen to them on my Sony portable to see if I like it or not. It usually takes me about two hours, but my collection has nearly doubled in the last two years thanks to them. If you have any in your area I highly recommend going there. Look in the clearance bins first!

Beggars (1995)

Samples

Beggars was a mid-90s band from the US that had members
who would later become founders of Better Than Ezra and Black
Rebel Motorcycle Club. Their debut album, self-titled, was produced
by Michael Been (of The Call) and released in 1996. The band
dissolved soon afterward.
