I just listened to the samples on Allmusic.com. That's really good!
From Allmusic:
Quote
Philadelphia's eclectic, rootsy rock quartet Marah consists of singer/songwriter/guitarist/banjoist David Bielanko, guitarist/vocalist/harmonica player Serge Bielanko, bassist Danny Metz, and drummer Ronnie Vance. Dave Bielanko, Metz, and Vance formed the group in 1993; brother Serge was so impressed with their sound that he wanted to join Marah, which he did in 1995. The band found an unofficial fifth member in producer/engineer Paul Smith, who was similarly taken with Marah's Replacements-meets-Springsteen style when he engineered their sound at some of their shows.

Up, up, up, up, up, up- Ani DiFranco (Righteous Babe Records).  No worries, it's a CD.  I dunno, man, but I'm thinking this right here is a stone cold masterpiece.  Musically, it sounds more spontaneous than rehearsed tho I doubt that is was but that is the case.  The way she describes persons, situations, and hope is like a writer of words would, yet she adds music and playing that bring her lyrics to life.  The sound is what you might call garage sound and the music and message is entirely the better for it.  Most every track is more like a happening than a song.  She is a poet in real time and the folks playing with her are so on her wavelength.  So spontaneous like and right on time.  The girl is fearless and I think she had total control of this call and all it's expression.  It's art happening right between your speakers.

I think you need to be willing to listen to this loud, but it's clean and acoustic, no worries.
