That great review just makes me wonder what you can do for $2-3K range.  :o

Great job!  I look forward to some of your upcoming products/joint ventures. :D

Congrats Danny.  I have a pair in my home now, along with the sub, but haven't had much of a chance to get to them.

Fantastic!  You've really outdone yourself.  Real wood veneer, braced heavy cabinets, good drivers, great measurements... the value proposition is almost unreal.  I'm going to recommend these to friends.

Wow, nice.  Their little sub is cute, wonder if it sounds as good as it looks!  They sure know how to package nice stuff with good prices.

In the review they say it's a Peerless driver, is it the same as what you have in the kits Dany?  The tweater seems to be the exact same, it has your logo on it.  I assume those don't have the Sonicap upgrades!

The sub looks like a good value too.  1 inch MDF construction and nice real wood veneer for just $199!  Did you design the sub too Danny?

I designed the woofers and had them made for this design. Peerless of India manufactured them. It is not the same as the woofers that I offer with our kits. It is actually a larger 6.5" woofer. It is similar in design to our M-130 though and the guys that reviewed the speakers compared the XLS woofer to our M-130 in regards to the price.

That is not the tweeter used in the XLS. Again it appears that they were comparing it to it in regards to price.

No, not at those prices. But they do have poly caps and air core inductors.

I did not design the woofer. They already had it to begin with. I just designed a box with optimal port tuning to allow the most out of it. That little woofer will hit a -3db in the 28Hz range and sounds really clean. It matches well with the speakers.

Having traveled to the AV123 GTG last summer, I was one of the fortunate one's that Mark is giving these out too.

I was amazed at the sound of these little gems. Expecially when I heard the price.  Amazing indeed!!

I was amazed so much so, that I ordered another set and the X-LS sub for my daughter.

Hard to not take the outdoor speakers down in the garage and install these but hey.....she's almost a good kid. What can I say.

So basically Danny those x-ls are not the same as your AV1?  They have a resemblance in terms of look but the drivers and internal are not the same...  Nice anyway!

I hope you enjoy them Jamie,

About those RS850's though. Go for the Signiture crossover upgrade. You'll really love it.

I do plan on it. I have heard very positive remarks about the upgrade when it comes to 2channel performance. I plan on upgrading one pair (2ch setup) and comparing them to my other pair (HT setup) side by side.
I am also trying to make room in the budget for the DAC 60, hearing great things about it and after listening to what an external DAC can do for my xcd88, I am sold.

Great stuff. Check out this thread for some custom finishes. These are some awesome prices btw http://av123forum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12871 At this price it is tempting just to buy for the cabinets. :D
