Not much exciting, but I finally built out my Millett Hybrid headphone amp.  I haven't done much listening yet.  Once I do, I have a few pairs of tubes to try rolling.  Here are a couple of pics:

Nice work Brad. That baby really glows. Now if the tubes will just last long enough to get the BlackGates broken in.

BTW, doesn't Pete Millett live in your area somewhere?

Thanks Mike.  Did you notice that the sockets are glowing in the first pic?  There are orange LEDs wired under the tube sockets to give it an extra glow (and act as power indicators).  'Lytics are all Cerafines.

I have a discrete diamond buffer for it, but I probably won't be building it now.  I also have a output power-up delay circuit to build and put in (and a second one for my PPA that includes DC offset protection).

I thought you might have some LED's under the sockets as I've never seen a 12xxx glow like that. :)

Now for a cool 70's disco look you could mount red, green, yellow and blue LED's with some kind color organ circuit to make boogie to the music you're playing. :D
