Job Opening: Analog Design Engineer

I hope this is the right place to post this!   :D

Ever want to design audio gear professionally?

I own an HR Consulting company, and I have been contracted to find analog design engineers for, YEAH, an audio products company! I just got the reqs today and am still signing engagement contracts, but if anyone here has at least a BSEE and experience with analog circuit design, I would really love to talk with you.

Most positions are senior level engineering positions in R&D or Product Design groups, though I also have a couple of engineering management openings with the same client.  Most projects will include audio amplifier design, pwer supply design (linear and switching), AM/FM radio, wired and RF data communications (even IR communications).  Digital design exp also helpful.

Please send me a PM, and we can discuss. All conversations confidential. If you have contacts I could network with, that would be very helpful as well.

Thanks,

John

Hi folks!

I've had a few suggestions on where to post this (outside of AC), and if you have more suggestions there, please post.  I have three openings to fill!

I've also had some common questions, so I'm going to post some more information here to try to answer those up-front.

Here are some details I can share at this point:

  1. The client is in a New England state and provides an excellent, paid relocation package to successful candidates.

  2. At this time, the company is not able to sponsor H1-B visa, but candidates needing a TN visa could work.

  3. The client is extremely innovative, and the candidates hired for these openings (I have three openings) will be working in an R&D function working to develop new products to be mass marketed.

  4. This is a medium sized company, not a small boutique design company.  Excellent benefits and pro-engineering culture.

  5. They are requiring at least a BSEE (MS or even better preferred) from a competitive school.  This part is absolutely required.

  6. The desire candidates who have a track record of performance as an electrical engineer, preferring candidates who come from high volume consumer electronics environments.

  7. Pay is typically north of $100K base with a bonus as well.

  8. They are expecting lots of analog circuit design experience, some digital experience would be desirable, with experience developing amplifiers, DACs, CD or DVD players, etc, desirable.  Passion for audio and video is a huge plus.

  9. The same client is also seeking two managers to start product development groups.  These managers must have management experience in a high volume consumer electronics company developing mass-marketable products.  Audio / Video products experience with background in acoustics a large plus.  BSEE or similar required.  Must be able to go technically hands-on in design as well as recruit and manage a product design team with real deliverables.  Pay on the manager openings is going to be in the mid-$100K range.

  10. Thanks folks!  Please forward this to anyone you think might be qualified for this amazing opportunity.

    John
