« on: 16 Feb 2006, 12:25 am »
Hello everyone i changed the caps in my bugle to pio caps that i had on hand all values stayed the same except the two .01 i only had .05 on hand so i used these now i have lost high frequencies it sound like a blanket is on over my speakers very muffled do you think using the wrong values for the 2 .01 caps caused this and if so what value would you reccomend to sub for  .01 caps. thanks in advance

Was it working before?  Usually what happens is that one of the new caps has the wrong value.  Sometimes the printing on the caps isn't clear (0.01uF or .001uF?).
