opinion: DAC-60 vs Bel Canto 2

Hi - i've been reading these forums for a while and wanted to get your opinions. It seems that some of the new DAC's coming from the far east are taking a big leap forward (for the price range). is the much talked about DAC-60 a challenge to the ageing Bel Canto 2...?

i dont know, but I hope so for two reasons:

1. to drive the cost down even more on used DAC 2.0's
2. to provide another option at 1/2 that cost.

Heard the DAC60 with Sonicap upgrades Saturday and it is a hell of a DAC, does many things just right.

I had a Bel Canto DAC 2 and couldn't wait to get rid of it. Very disappointing!!!! Can't understand why it's supposed to be so good. Mine wasn't.
