Frank,

I know that, once upon a time, AVA produced an integrated amp.  Have you considered resurrecting it, with the tres chic new faceplate and a remote?

I'd like to replace a receiver with an integrated amp in my "home theater" system (stereo is fine - I'm with you on that subject, Frank), and, to save space, would prefer to not have to use separates.  But, I also don't want to sacrifice too much in the way of performance.

Although stereo is OK with me, I do wonder if a 3-channel offering would have greater appeal to the audiophile masses.

Although your original integrated amp apparently didn't generate sufficient interest to justify its ongoing production, perhaps today is a new day.

What do you think?

Actually you don't really need a preamp at all in an HT system. The amplifier channels can be driven directly from the audio outputs on the HT receiver.

Our OmegaStar 240EX/3 is doing really well in many HT systems.

We are not building an integrated amp now because the labor cost to build it is very high in comparison to the clean analog power possible in a small chassis.   Of course you can do it with Class D switching amps if you don't mind loosing all the spirit of the music.  Results much like the flavor of great prime rib after reheating in a micowave.

I deleted a post, the first time ever, because I would really prefer it if other manufacturer's products were not recommended my circle.  There are other places where you can do that.

Thank you.

Sorry Frank, I didn’t think it out of line since you DON’T make integrated amps and apparently don’t intend too. The poster clearly stated that he didn’t want separate components, I didn’t think it was out of line to post a suggestion. I guess I was wrong.
