I wrote a scale of amplifiers priced from approximately $1000-$10,000 for fun. These are my personal opinions, and I'm sure many of you will no doubt have your own.

I believe the Odyssey Audio Stereo and Monoblocks are hard to contend with from $750 to the $1500 price range. The AKSA-100 Nirvana Plus is also very competitive in this price range. I think Odyssey Audio's offerings are winners in amplifiers from $750-$3000. The Belles Ref. 150A is also a solid choice at the $3000 mark. From the $4000 to $8000 mark the Belles Ref. 350A Stereo and Monoblocks are hard to contend with. The McCormack DNA-500 is also a solid choice at the $7000 price range.
