I started to mess around with easy cdda extractor after using EAC for years, because of  reading this post.  What does everyone use for read mode on the cd-reader tab in easy cdda?
I ripped a cd that EAC had a lot of read and sync errors and then ripped it with easy cdda in normal mode and it had no problems with it.  I'm just wondering if I need a more strict setting.

I use "Error recovery and repair". FWIW, I've done binary compares between EAC rips and CD-DA rips and they were bit identical.

absolutely. if you dont take decent care of your cds then no import solution will be perfect. the real question is "does itunes lossless fully capture every single "01010101001001011010" that represents digitally coded music on a "relatively not f'd up , thrashed, or 'camel-jockey'd' cd" ?

For all the research that i have done, that answer is YES
