My buddy just recieved a brand new set of Ref 9.02's today. We listened to them on the Acoustat 0ne plus 0ne's comparing them to the Ref 8's that I have. Straight from the box the Ref 9.02's have much better control and bass weight with excellent space and ambience retrival. Only got to listen for about an hour but was pleased with what I heard. This would seem to be a very good combination but will need at least a week of burn in to really tell the story. So far a great sounding product. Best bass that I have ever heard a 0ne plus 0ne make funning full range.
Would recommend Quad owners to give these a try as the Acoustat is a much harder load than is the Quad. Regards Moray James.
