I agree with Ampguru - a "quick & dirty" hack for balanced operation could pose some reliability risks. It is my understanding that there is no official "balanced AKSA" and I'd bet to provide one would require a board redesign.
However we all take risks and our experimenter has got and is delighted with the results he was after. It's eyes open and take every care stuff.
It seems to me Hugh quickly dreamt something up off the top of his head in response to a question. If there is a better / safer way to do it with the current board and without a vast redesign I and I'm sure others would love to have it presented by Ampguru. Constructive critisism is always best and we all learn.
