SPV1 is not getting controlled by my SP1.7

My SPV1 is no longer responding to my SP1.7 44F software, what gives, it will not power down, switch component, nada...can anyone help me out what I can do to fix this issue.

Yes the cable is connected between the two units.

I assume it has been working fine in the past?

I assume you tried a re-boot using the power switch on the back of the SP1.7?

Hi eddiem67,

Try removing the power cord from the wall on the SPV1 then replug it in and then rebooting.

Also could be the RS232 to 1/8 phone plug cable could be defective.

Ok I unplugged everything, and started form scratch, the SPV1 responds to input switching from the 1.7, but it will not switch from C1 to C2 and vice versa when I switch inputs from DVD to Cable. Also the unit does not power down when I power down the 1.7.
