Thought that I would post the results of running a set of Acoustat 0ne plus 0ne's with a set of Ref 8's. These (NuForce) units are used but were updated in Aug. The sound of this combination is stunning. I do not believe that I have ever heard the Acoustat's sound near this good. While the Ref 8's will drive the 0ne plus 0ne's to good (loud) levels they will not quite drive them as loud as I know that they can play. That said I think that many would be more than satisfied with the levels this combination can achieve. For those that want more I should think that the Ref 9's would do the trick. These amps have been running non stop since the weekend (5 days) and they continue to improve. A most impressive sound. My hats off to NuForce. Regards Moray James.
