New Music Available from Response Audio

I recently had the opportunity to become an exclusive US dealer for some new music coming out of a new recording studio in Canada under the "Unity" label
Unity Studio recently sent me a copy of their first release which made it's way to CES and the recent NY Audio Rave this past weekend at Levi's place where it appears to have done pretty good in both locations. Maybe a few NY Ravers will post a few comments to let Circle members know what to expect from this recording.
Response Audio and Jam'n Audio is now using this recording as a Reference in both showrooms.
My first shipment is due in the middle part of this week and I want to offer Circle members first dibs and a special pricing. I only ask that should you purchase this disc, that you submit a quick paragraph on your findings.
This recoding is selling in the US for $18 plus shipping and I am offering circle members a price of $12 including shipping.

It would be nice if there were a few samples of the music available, to get an idea of what it sounds like before buying it.

I am working on that one. I plan to have a few seconds from a few tracks available shortly.

That's also something in the works with the UnityAudio.ca site as well for this and all future releases.
If only we could add a 25th hour to a work day.

As Bill mentioned, at the last Rave, we got to hear a few tracks from the Josee Deschenes new release..."What It Is". A smooth jazz release...good sounding recording. As noted, some excellent bass...and she is a good singer. Hopefully, there will be track samples, then you can have a listen.

Thank for the comments. I am working on getting a few samples on my webpage and hope to have them up by the weekend.

As far as the "gig photos" she no longer has that group but it does show what she looks like.

If i get the chance to contact here or if Unity speaks to hre, maybe we can get a bio together also.

I also plan on brnging in further recordings from Unity. Like any recording studio, I am sure they will be looking for more exposure than just Response Audio but I hope to be part of the chain

As a note, I will not sell outside the US (I have had a few inquiries, not from circle members). I send anyone outside the US who inquires to Omer's website over at Unity Audio.

By the way, I am now bringing in all the same cabling that is used throughout the Unity Studio!! I am now using these cables in my showroom and find them to be very good values. Just goes to show you need not spend a ton of $$ for quality cables. I may start a new thread for this but here it is for those following this one:

Bill asked that people who purchase this CD post feedback.

I'm sorry, but I just don't get it.

The CD consists of 9 "songs" that are so interchangable, it might as well be one song repeated 9 times.

Take a 70's drum machine track, add a harmonic structure consisting of one (or at the most, two) chords, and the most unispired vocals repeating ahh, ahh, ahh, without any trace of creative melody.

If Josee Deschenes possesses special singing or playing talent, you're not going to discover it from this effort.

You are correct, honest feedback is what we were looking for. I am sorry you did not find this CD to your liking and do appreciate the honesty.

You need not sell the CD at a loss as I will offer you a full return on it. I am not one that likes to see someone have to keep a product, even as small as a CD, if they are not happy with it.
