More than a year ago I bought a used Super PAs Three preamp from Frank Van Alstine. I use it in my office at work, listening constantly to LPs, iTunes, FM and sometimes CDs. It is wonderful, and it makes my life better just about every day.
Music floats in my work space, with a noise-free sweetness and realism that's hard to describe. The "feel" and quality of the controls and connections are excellent, and I love the simplicity of the unit.
Recently there had been some intermittent noise on both channels, so I removed the top to reseat the tubes (which solved the problem). I had never had the cover off, and was amazed at the layout and build quality.
