Call of Cthulhu for the 'box?

Has anyone played Call of Cthulhu for the 'box? I'm a big Lovecraft fan, so I'd like this game to be good, but I don't know anything about it. Has anyone here played it yet? If so, is it worth $40?

It's a game that looks really interesting to me also, I'll eventually pick it up. It got a 'Great' rating over at Gamespot.........

Just got to playing other stuff. Perhaps I still will if I can find a copy.
