[Horizons]

I downloaded a newer version of iTunes on Sunday, January 8th and suddenly, I am ripping at 10X instead of 2.5x or so. I check all the options and I am still ripping with error correction to Apple Lossless.

It is ripping so much faster now I am wondering if it is still performing a real error check during the read and rip.

Thoughts?

I had one CD ripping at 20x to full uncompressed WAV with error correction. My kinda ripping speed!!

Now if Apple would just enable on-the-fly conversion from WAV to compressed AAC or MP3 to my IPOD (Like they do with the I-Shuffle), we'd be cooking with gas!!
