Great topic, and thanks to a lot of folks for posting some stuff I should go buy!!!

Without a seconds' doubt for me:

"Live Dead" (first one with Dark Star)  I can whistle the first 3 sides of vinyl.
Just ordered the remastered cd, since my other one disappeared while carrying it around.  Without doubt, 1st rate Dead coming into their own onstage.

"Heritage" Darol Anger

"Beyond the Missouri Sky" Pat Metheny/Charlie Haydn.

Hey jqp, what version of Quadraphenia ya liking?
I picked up the remastered cd, but it doesn't hold a candle to my memory of the album on vinyl.  But then again, my vinyl version is trashed...
boo-hoo.  Damed good album though.

Best Regards,
DeadFish

Every Beatles album (I have to go along with that - esp Abbey Rd)
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Moody Blues - To Our Childrens Childrens Children
Someone else said RAM - great McCartney choice.
George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Connie Smith 45 of Once a Day (apparently I drove my parents NUTS with it when I was 4-5 yrs old)

Yeah, these are mostly older albums, but that's what I grew up with and most of them I still really like.

I did some research on this and came up with this one:

It comes complete with Japanese and English Booklets.

Supposed to be the best pressing, etc.  I was obsessed for about a week looking for "the best".  It was somewhere between $30 and $50 over the internet.
